Elizabeth Reaser (born Elizabeth Reaser) is an American actress, who has been seen on television, films and plays. Elizabeth was born in and raised in Michigan. Since she was a child, she wanted to be an actor. After the graduation of high school, she enrolled in Juilliard's drama program and obtained a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Following a highly successful guest appearance on The Sopranos series, she began her television debut as an actress who was fully trained. In the following years, she was a part of various other shows that also enjoyed a lot of attention, including The Jury and Hack. Her career took off with a major break when she was given the part of Alice Alden in the series Saved in 2006. She then appeared on Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife and True Detective. In addition, she was a part of films such as Liberal Arts One and Two as well as The Twilight Saga.
Jessica was a fan of films and television from the age of a child. The path she chose to pursue was as a model for fashion. An Australian casting director approached models and asked they to attend auditions. In the film Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls, she was given the part in the film "Kiki". An audition tape was sent to the producers. They also received a second tape showing her doing MMA. The producers asked her to submit an MMA video of her swordfighting. The next day, Jessica sent it. Jessica, after reading the script for the scene, knew it would be essential to master weapons. She took her very first training lesson. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team was pleasantly surprised by how well she did in her first class. This was her first US big role, as she was previously in Australian films. Jessica's expertise in mixed martial, horse riding and weaponry and her capability to pull off stunts, give her the opportunity to play an impressive female role. She's studied boxing as well as muay Thai in Australia, as well as taking classes at a mixed martial training facility for martial arts. Jake Stormoen was on the Season 4 set when he met a wandering dog. The dog was later discovered to be part of a litter of stray pups, which had taken place in the studios.
